Should we continue blogging ?

Blogger has its own up side and down side of use, it is a very good website for students to use but it also has a disadvantage of it using. It is one of the easiest way to make alibi or excuses that you didn't do your homework. One example is having fake technical difficulties by students who are just too lazy to do their homework and post it on Blogger unless they have proof that they really are having a legitimate technical difficulties. Another example is that most students get side tracked by Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc. Through my experience, using Blogger is more efficient and easier way to do homework rather than writing with Pen or Pencil on a piece of a paper.

So my answer is yes, because it is easier for me to do my homework and in my point of view, many students will benefit using Blogger for their studies. So in general, we, as class, should continue using Blogger because this way, it will be easier for us English 9 students to improve quickly though some students might disagree with me because as I said, they will get side tracked because of Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Big Question #1 (revised)

It is unusual for a protagonist to run away rather than facing the problem. The author probably made this choice because he was maybe trying to send out a message. The author also possibly made this choice because he was also trying to show that if you try to hide from your troubles and then if you get caught you will go in much more trouble than you would have been into before. He also might have made this choice to tell his readers that never run away from a problem, just face your problems and let a friend or relative know what your problem is so they might be able to help you solve your problem, however never try to hide it.

The message that the author may be trying to send out is a good one. He is basically telling that it is always better to face your problems and do not try to get away with it because it is unlikely that you will get away with it without actually getting caught. For example if you try to get away by not doing your homework it is kind of impossible to not get caught (my friend has tried before, he got caught). That might be the message that the author is trying to send.

Almost everyone says that it is better to face your troubles rather than hiding them and same with me because I’m sure that you will get in more trouble than you probably would have been into if you faced your problem right away. For example there was a chase quite a few years ago. The police turned on the siren and the man had pulled over when the police man was approaching the car the person that pulled over started driving and trying to run away, then the police had to chase him and when the police caught the man he had huge fines and he went to jail. If the man just pulled over and actually talked to the police man he would have gotten less charges and he would not have to go to jail. For all those reasons everyone should face their
problems rather than hiding them because you can get in some serious trouble if
you get caught.

Question 1 ! ( revised ? )

In this story , cue for treason , Peter is faced with the desicion of running away from his problem or staying and being faced with consequences . Peter's parent's should have ran away with Peter during this situation , he is young and may not be able to live on his own . Running away from you're problems is never a good idea ! And everyone should know that . The author of Cue for Treason , may have made the desicion to make Peter run away alone just to add more excitment or to add more thrill to the story . Knowing that Peter is alone may make some people who are reading the story to think that Peter will get into alot of trouble with the law , or Peter may get lost and there create's a new problem .

If Peter's parent's came with him to run away they could of helped Peter alot . But , if they joined Peter , maybe he would not of had the opritunity to join the actor's he met along the way . Or met as many people as he did when he was traveling alone .
The message the author might be is trying to send is something about growing up . The quote "Live your life to the fullest." by Ernest Hemingway, seems to fit well with
this story . Peter has to leave his parents sometime and why not do it now ? Well no kid at the age like 15 would leave there parents because they will not be able to afford it . But Peter had to run away to keep his family safe . He met a whole lot of people and is acting with actors , he did pretty good for him self !

It is always better to face you're troubles . No matter what the problem is or how big it may be , you always have to face them right away before they get worse . An example would be " You can run but you can't hide ." Said by Joe Louis a famous weight lifter , in 1946 . The saying basically means you can run all you want but you will never be able to hide from you're problems . It still means that today , as it probably ment simular during the Elizabeth Era. Also , it is still saidby alot of people to this day .

big Question 5

Some students have problems relating to the people in Shakes Spears time. There is a bunch of people who can relate to him very well, and the ones who can are probobly smart and, usualy do pretty well in there classes. The people who can relate to the people in the Shakes Spear time, or (any writers back then) i would think have a pretty good imaganation, and can picture things pretty good.

I think if i were to be anyone out of the characters it would be Peter, personaly i dont think i would be like anyone but i guess i would be like Peter. Peter isn't really a hero, he is an accidental one. I am not a hero at all. Things me and Peter have that are the same;
Peter likes to adventure, like's music, is kind of brave, a pretty nice guy, responcible, and good at hiding.

I do not think i am like Kit, im not a girl, i can't sing, i don't like the theature.
I don't think im like Sir Phillip either, im not royalty, i don't have any power ,people are not a fraid of me and dont throw rocks at me, and i can't send people to jail, or be hung.
I can't really relate that well to these people but i guess Peter would the the best one that i could relate to.

Amin's post #3 - sent to Ms Lees via email

Good problem solving Amin!

Its unusual for a protagonist to run away rather than facing the problem. I think author made this choice because he was maybe trying to send out a message. I think the author also made this choice because he was also trying to prove that when you get caught you get in much more trouble then you would have gone in before. I also believe that the author made this choice to tell his readers that never run away from a problem just face your problems and let an adult know what your problem is so they might be able to help you solve it but never try to hide it.

I think the message the author is trying to send out is a good one. He is basicly telling that its always better to face your problems and don't try to get away with it because its very unlikely that you will get away with it without actually getting caught, for example if you try to get away by not doing your homework its almost impossible to not get caught unless if the teacher forgets which will most probably not going to happen (My friend has tried before, he got caught). That is what I think thats the message that the author is trying to send.

I believe it is better to face your troubles rather than hiding from trouble i'm sure that you will get in more trouble than you probably would have been into, for example there was a chase quite a few years ago, the police turned the lights on the man had pulled over when the police man was approaching the car the man started driving and the police had to chase him and when the police caught the man he had huge fines and he went to jail, if the man had just pulled over and actually talked to the police man he would have gotten less charges and he wouldn't have had to go to jail. I think everyone should face their problems rather than hiding them because you can get in some serious trouble if you get caught.
  Big Question

I think that any man can change his goal its normal for people not to know what there gonna be because some people can't decied what there gonna do till there done high school. although some people start very early, like my dad he started his career at his job when he was only 16/17 working as a guy who unloaded the trucks. Then started building off that now he is a very big business man in his company. Other people like me, have no idea what their gonna be.

Question #3 Hero (Revised)

Peter is the kind of hero who will risk his life just to save others'. Peter has no intention of becoming a hero, his only intention was to save Queen Elizabeth's life from Sir Philip's plot to kill her. Peter is the type of hero who accidentally became a hero. In my point of view, it doesn't matter what your age is or if you're a low or high class person in order to become a hero. At his age of fifteen, I would say that Peter Brownrigg is one remarkable hero in the Queen Elizabeth Era.

One example from the text is when Peter was in one of Sir Philip's tower and heard information about Sir Philip's plot to kill the Queen. And ever since he heard about the plot, he began to realize that he needed to tell people who he only trust about the plot. He knew that he has to save the Queen no matter what happen, even if his life is on the on the line. Peter traveled to a far away place (i forgot what the place is called) just to tell other people like Mr.Desmond etc.. about the plot.

A man named Dr. Jose Rizal is a person who is a hero to me. In fact, most Filipinos consider him a hero because he's a National Hero. He is one of many man who tried to bring Freedom to Philippines and he succeeded. He was killed by his fellow low class Filipino Soldiers because if the low class soldiers don't kill Rizal, then all of the low class soldiers will be killed by the hands of Spaniards. He is also the one who brought back Filipinos into their senses again and to reality as well. He died for ever Filipinos who was and still alive. Both Jose Rizal and Peter Brownrigg saved other people's lives even though they knew there will be consequences and that their lives will be endangered.
